The Best Buddies chapter at our high school is dedicated to building one-to-one friendships between students with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Through fun events, group activities, and regular meetups, members create meaningful connections that promote inclusion, understanding, and acceptance. The club fosters a supportive environment where everyone is valued, respected, and celebrated for who they are. Best Buddies helps students develop empathy, leadership, and social skills while making a positive impact in the school and beyond. Black Girl Initiative serves to bring cohesion amongst the African American student body and address and propose solution for significant issues within the school community. The purpose of the club is to prepare the upcoming leaders in the building and provide them with skills to effectively lead and voice their concerns. BGI will serves to be a safe space for girls to voice their opinions and concerns regarding issues in the school community and a place where the issues can be addressed and have solutions put into action.

The Book Club is a welcoming space for middle and high school students who love to read, share ideas, and explore new perspectives through literature. Chrysalis is the YWPA's elite chamber vocal ensemble. The ensemble sings a wide range of music from Baroque to Broadway, Pop to Jazz. Commitment and dedication are required. Students must be able to stay after school for rehearsals once a week.

The Film Society is a creative and engaging club for middle and high school students who are passionate about movies, storytelling, and visual arts. First Priority is an Equal Access / Student Led Organization
First Priority exists to share the Hope of the Gospel with every student, on every campus. We equip students with the resources to effectively share the Hope of Christ with their fellow students and to create a safe place on campus where any and everyone is loved and welcome. Las Paisanas is a Hispanic Folkloric Dance Troupe for middle and high school students, open by audition only. This vibrant group celebrates Hispanic culture through traditional dance, music, and colorful costumes. The Law Studies Club aims to guide students interested in pursuing careers in law by providing a deep understanding of the legal field and the impact of women in law. Model United Nations is an authentic simulation of the UN General Assembly, UN Security Council, or other multilateral body, which introduces students to the world of diplomacy, negotiation, and decision making. At Model UN, students step into the shoes of ambassadors of countries that are members of the UN, from Argentina to Zimbabwe. The students, better known as “delegates”, debate current issues on the organization’s vast agenda. They prepare draft resolutions, plot strategy, negotiate with supporters and adversaries, resolve conflicts, and navigate the UN’s rules of procedure – all in the interest of resolving problems that affect the world. Before playing out their ambassadorial roles in Model UN, students research the particular global problem to be addressed. The problems are drawn from today’s headlines. Model UN delegates learn how the international community acts on its concerns about peace and security, human rights, the environment, food and hunger, economic development, and globalization.

Monarch Motion is the school’s social media team for middle and high school students passionate about digital storytelling and creative communication. Members work together to create, manage, and share engaging content across the school’s social media platforms, highlighting events, achievements, and school spirit. The team develops skills in photography, video production, graphic design, and social media marketing while collaborating to build a positive online presence. Monarch Motion offers a fun, hands-on opportunity to explore digital media, connect with the school community, and showcase student voices.

Since its foundation in 1981, SADD has impacted the lives of millions: students, friends, parents, school & community leaders, law enforcement officials, and more! Because motor vehicular crashes remain the number one killer of teens today, until statistics change, SADD’s core focus will remain traffic safety; however, the issues that teens face on a daily basis have expanded. Women of Tomorrow is an organization dedicated to women helping women and its program model is unique and effective — highly accomplished professional women meet with small groups of at-risk girls in public high schools once a month to discuss ways to overcome obstacles and to provide skills for success. In its first year of operation, Women of Tomorrow commissioned an independent psychologist to conduct pre and post self-esteem tests of the girls participating and a statistically significant increase in the self-esteem of the Women of Tomorrow Mentees was found.
